Flight delay, gate change and baggage belt alerts

TripStow Pro tracks every flight in your trips and alerts you when something changes: a gate assigned or changed, a delay of 15 minutes or more, a terminal change, a cancellation or diversion, and the baggage belt when you land. It is for travellers who want to know before the departure board does.

Alerts are part of TripStow Pro, at £3.99 a month or £29.99 a year, with a 30-day free trial. On the free plan you still get check-in reminders and "usually late" punctuality for your flights.

How does it work?

  1. 1

    Add your flight

Forward the booking or add the flight by hand. There is no separate flight number to enter for tracking.

  2. 2

    TripStow starts watching

From two days before departure, TripStow follows your flight using live flight data from AeroDataBox.

  3. 3

    You get an alert

Each change arrives by email and as a push notification on every device you switch on.

  4. 4

It is saved to your log

The gate, terminal, tail number and real departure and landing times are kept on your flight, so your on-time record and Hangar build themselves.

Which alerts does Pro send?

Pro alerts you to each of these as it happens:

  • Gate assigned, or gate changed
  • Delays of 15 minutes or more, and again if the delay grows by 10 minutes
  • Terminal changes
  • Cancellations and diversions
  • Your baggage belt on arrival

Push notifications on your phone

Switch on "Notifications on your phone" in Settings on each device. On iPhone, add TripStow to your home screen first (iOS 16.4 or later). Check-in reminders are pushed too.

Questions people ask

Are flight alerts free?
No. Live flight alerts are a TripStow Pro feature, because live flight data costs money per lookup. You can try Pro free for 30 days, with no card needed.
Where does the live flight data come from?
TripStow uses AeroDataBox, a flight data provider. TripStow sends it the flight number and date, never your name or booking details.
Does TripStow help claim delay compensation?
No. TripStow tells you about delays and records how late each flight was, but it does not check eligibility for, or claim, delay compensation.
