TripStow vs TripIt

TripStow and TripIt both build a travel itinerary from the booking emails you forward to them. The difference is focus: TripIt is a mature trip organiser with a long list of on-the-day travel tools, while TripStow pairs trip building with a lifetime travel log, a scratch-off world map, detailed flight stats and a Hangar of every plane you have flown on.

This page compares the two factually, from TripStow's own product and from TripIt's website as it read on 30 September 2026. TripIt is a trademark of its owner; TripStow is not affiliated with it.

Which should you choose?

Choose TripIt if you want the widest set of on-the-day travel tools, such as fare and seat tracking, airport maps, alternate flights and automatic inbox sync.

Choose TripStow if you also want your travel history to count: a scratch-off map, detailed flight stats and badges, a Hangar of every plane you have flown on, flight log imports, and check-in reminders on the free plan.

You can use both. Forwarding a booking to one does not stop you forwarding it to the other.

Questions people ask

Is TripStow a TripIt alternative?
Yes. Like TripIt, TripStow builds an itinerary from the booking emails you forward to it. TripStow adds a lifetime travel log, a scratch-off world map, detailed flight stats, badges and a Hangar of every plane you have flown on.
Is TripStow cheaper than TripIt Pro?
TripStow Pro costs £29.99 a year or £3.99 a month. TripIt's website listed TripIt Pro at $49 a year on 30 September 2026. The two are priced in different currencies, and the features differ, so compare the plans for what you need.
Can I import my TripIt trips into TripStow?
Not directly. TripStow does not connect to TripIt and never asks for your TripIt password. If you have a flight log in LogMyFlight, myFlightradar24 or OpenFlights, or a CSV file, you can import that.
