Questions
- Which files work?
- CSV exports from LogMyFlight, myFlightradar24 and OpenFlights are recognised by their columns. Any other CSV works if it has From, To and Date columns, with airport codes such as LHR and JFK.
- How do I export my flights?
- In myFlightradar24, open your profile settings and export your flights as CSV. In OpenFlights, use Export to CSV under your flights. In LogMyFlight, export your flights from the app's settings.
- Is my file uploaded or stored?
- No. Your browser reads the file and works the stats out on your device. Nothing is sent to TripStow, and closing the page clears everything.
- How is the distance worked out?
- The export's own distance when it has one, otherwise the great-circle distance between the two airports. Hours in the air come from the export's durations where given, and are estimated from the distance where not.
- Can I keep my stats?
- Sign up free and import the same file. TripStow then keeps your log going as you travel: forward a booking email and the new flights join your stats, map and Hangar by themselves.
No export? Type your flights into the flight distance calculator instead, or try the countries visited map.
