A travel wishlist map of the countries you want to visit

TripStow's travel wishlist is a bucket list map: mark the countries you want to visit and they show in pink on your world map, next to the countries you have already been to. It is free, and it is for anyone with a list of places they keep meaning to go.

When you are ready, one tap turns a wishlist country into a trip, and once you have been, it comes off the wishlist by itself.

How does it work?

  1. 1

Mark where you want to go

Tap any country on the map and add it to your wishlist from its card, or switch the Countries list to "Want to go" and tick as many as you like.

  2. 2

See your wishlist on the map

Wishlist countries show in pink on your world map and with a heart on the flags view, so you can see where you have been and where you want to go together.

  3. 3

    Plan a trip

Pick a wishlist country and roughly when, say Japan in April, and TripStow starts a trip for it, ready for the booking emails.

  4. 4

    Go, and watch it move

Forward your bookings and the trip fills itself in. Once you have been, the country comes off your wishlist and onto your map.

How do I make a map of the countries I want to visit?

Sign up to TripStow free and open your map. Tap a country and add it to your wishlist, or use "Want to go" on the Countries list to mark several at once. Each one turns pink on the map straight away.

Countries you have already visited cannot be added, so the wishlist is always the places still to go.

From bucket list to booked

Your wishlist is a starting point for real trips. Choose a country and a rough month, and TripStow makes a trip such as "Japan in April". When you forward the flight and hotel confirmations, they file themselves into it, in local time.

After the trip, the country is counted as visited and comes off your wishlist automatically.

Who can see my wishlist?

Only you, unless you switch on a public profile. If your profile is public, your wishlist countries are shown on it with your map. Future trips are never public, so a planned trip stays private either way.

Part of your travel map

Your wishlist lives on the same map as your scratch-off countries, with a switch for the flags view, US states and Canada.
