A lifetime flight log with travel statistics
TripStow is a flight log and travel statistics app. Every trip you forward or import is counted: distance flown, hours in the air, countries, airports, airlines, aircraft, individual planes, estimated CO2 and more. It is for frequent flyers and anyone who wants their travel history in numbers.
The flight log, stats and badges are free. Import years of flights in one go, and your log keeps itself up to date as you forward new bookings.
How does it work?
- 1
Import your history
Bring a flight log from LogMyFlight, myFlightradar24, OpenFlights or a CSV file. Duplicates are removed and flights are grouped into trips.
- 2
Forward new bookings
Each new trip is added to your log automatically, from the booking email.
- 3
See your stats
Distance, Earth and Moon multiples, hours, time zones, top routes, cabins, records, a year chart and a day and hour heatmap, with a year filter.
- 4
Earn badges
Levels from bronze to legend for flights, countries and airports, plus about 30 one-off badges.
What does TripStow count?
Your stats page shows these, for all time or a single year:
- Distance flown, and how many times around the Earth and to the Moon
- Hours in the air and time zones crossed
- Countries, airports, airlines, aircraft types and tail numbers
- Estimated CO2, by haul length and cabin
- Busiest months, a day and hour heatmap, top routes and records
- Your own on-time record and minutes lost to delays
How accurate are the stats?
Distances are measured airport to airport along the shortest path over the Earth's surface (great-circle distance), so they can differ slightly from airline miles. CO2 figures are estimates using standard per-kilometre bands by haul length and cabin.
Duplicate flights, for example the same flight logged twice by an older app, are merged, so your totals count each flight once.
Year in Review and share cards
A tap-through story of each year, and share cards for your world, your flights and your year, in sizes for Instagram and WhatsApp. Share cards only ever show past travel.
Questions people ask
- Can I import my flights from another app?
- Yes. TripStow imports LogMyFlight, myFlightradar24 and OpenFlights exports, and generic CSV files. Re-importing fills in what is missing without creating duplicates, and you can undo an import.
- Can I export my flight log?
- Yes. Settings has "Export everything (CSV)", which downloads every flight and plan in your account as a CSV file.
- Are trains and cruises counted?
- Yes. Trains, ferries, road trips and cruises count towards your map and countries. Ships you have sailed on are kept in your Dock, with nights at sea and ports of call.
- Is there a leaderboard?
- Yes, for people who switch on a public profile. It can show everyone, or verified flights only. Your stats are private unless you choose to share them.
