How to export your TripIt data (every way, in 2026)

The short answer: TripIt does not have an “export all my trips” or CSV button. There are four official ways to get your plans out, each with limits, and one third-party route that moves every flight in one go. Here is each, with the menu paths from TripIt's own help pages, checked on 4 October 2026.

1. The calendar feed (live, but only the last 90 days)

TripIt can publish your trips as a calendar subscription. On the website: profile icon, Settings, Calendar Feed, and switch it on. In the app: Account, Settings, Calendar Sync. Copy the feed address into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook (TripIt says Lotus Notes and Outlook 2013 and later are not supported). It is read only and refreshes every 15 minutes to a day, depending on the calendar app. TripIt: calendar feed

The catch: the feed only includes trips from the last 90 days. Older trips stay in your TripIt account but drop off the calendar. TripIt: past trips on your calendar

2. Export one trip at a time to a calendar file

For older trips, TripIt's answer is to export each trip as a calendar (.ics) file. Website only: Trips, More Options under the trip, Export trip to calendar, then import the file into your calendar. It is a snapshot, so later changes do not follow, and it has to be done trip by trip. TripIt: export an individual trip

3. Print a trip (or save it as a PDF)

Also website only: Trips, choose the trip, More Options, Print Trip. Your browser's print dialog can save it as a PDF instead of printing. Good for a record of a trip, not for moving data anywhere. TripIt: print your itinerary

4. Ask for your data

TripIt's privacy statement gives you the right to access your data and to data portability. Requests go by email to support@tripit.com: say what you want, in what format, and whether it should go to you or another service. TripIt checks your identity first. There is no self-serve download. You might wonder about the TripIt API. TripIt's help centre says the public API no longer takes new integrations, though existing connections keep working, so a new personal script is not an option. TripIt: public API

Moving every flight at once

If what you care about is your flight history, OpenFlights (a free, open-source flight log) can connect to TripIt and import your past and future trips in bulk, with duplicates detected. It brings flights only, not hotels. OpenFlights: import From OpenFlights you can export a CSV file of every flight, which other flight logs can read.

TripStow reads that OpenFlights file, as well as LogMyFlight and myFlightradar24 exports, so this is the quickest way to bring years of TripIt flights into a lifetime travel log with a scratch-off map. For upcoming trips, forward the booking emails to TripStow as you would to TripIt; you can keep using both.

Which should you use?

  • Just want trips in your calendar: the calendar feed, accepting the 90-day window.
  • Want a record of older trips: export or print them one at a time.
  • Want everything TripIt holds about you: email a data request.
  • Want your flight history in another app: OpenFlights, then its CSV.
