The best apps that organise your trips from booking emails
These apps turn the confirmation emails for your flights, hotels, trains and cars into a single itinerary, so you are not searching your inbox at the airport. Most give you an address to forward bookings to; some can read your inbox for you.
The differences are in what happens next: a plain itinerary, live flight alerts, group planning on a map, or a lasting record of where you have been. Prices and platforms were checked on each company's own site or UK App Store listing. TripStow made this page and is one of the apps listed, so every description is factual and cited.

TripStow
Best for an itinerary that builds itself from forwarded emails, then becomes a lifetime travel record.
Forward flight, hotel, train, car and cruise confirmations, even PDFs, to your private TripStow address and it builds a day-by-day itinerary in local time, grouping bookings into trips. TripStow never connects to your inbox; it only sees what you forward. Every trip then feeds a flight log, lifetime stats and a scratch-off map. Pro adds live flight alerts.
TripIt
Best for the long-standing all-rounder, with inbox syncing and paid flight alerts.
Forward confirmations to plans@tripit.com, or let Inbox Sync add plans from Gmail, Google Workspace, Outlook, Microsoft 365, Hotmail or Yahoo. The free plan builds itineraries and tallies travel stats; Pro adds more.[1][2][3]
Tineo
Best for a newer AI itinerary app with email-to-itinerary on its free plan.
Forward or paste confirmations and Tineo turns them into an itinerary; it says connected email import may be available for some accounts. Email-to-itinerary is on the free plan.[4][5][6]
KAYAK Trips
Best for a simple, free itinerary if you already use KAYAK.
Forward confirmations to trips@kayak.com and KAYAK builds the trip, with no need to sync your inbox. It is completely free and works across your devices, but it keeps no travel stats.[7]
Wanderlog
Best for planning a trip together on a map, with bookings forwarded in.
Wanderlog is a trip planner first: places, routes and a shared plan. Forward a booking to the trip's own email address to add flights, hotels and cars; linking Gmail is a Pro feature.[8][9][10][11]
Tripsy
Best for a polished itinerary app if everyone travelling uses Apple devices.
Forward booking emails or import plans from TripIt, and Tripsy keeps a record of countries, hotel nights, flight time and distance. Trips can only be created and edited in its Apple apps; there is no native Android app yet.[12][13][14][15]
